GUIDE TO A GENTLEMAN'S STYLE #1

The most important piece of sage advice that you need.
Style is a complicated beast, all too easy to spot, difficult to achieve and close to impossible to define.
Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say and not giving a damn.
*1. If you want to rock a tartan suit , loafers without socks or a panama hat, do it-as long as you've got the confidence to pull it off.

*2. Get yourself a good barber and never let him go. Your hair is the only thing you wear every single day, so take care of it.

*3. Don't keep fiddling with an outfit at every opportunity. Don't check yourself out in every mirror going. There's a line between being well-dressed and vanity. Ensure you don't cross it.

*4. Clothes and manners don't make a man , but when he is made, they greatly improve his appearance.

*5. Looking good isn't self importance, it's self respect.

*6. All it takes are a few simple outfits. And there's one secret-the simpler, the better. A man's wardrobe can consist of about 25 items and he can be impeccably dressed every day of his life. Fussing over accessories, prints and patterns to excess can be to the detriment of your appearance.

*7. It is both delusional and stupid to think that clothes don't really matter and we should all wear what we want. Most people don't take  clothing seriously enough, but whether we should or not, clothes do talk to us and we make decisions based on people's appearance.

*8. Your appearance counts for something, it's much about respect for those around us as yourself; you'll be judged more positively if you're immaculately turned out.

*9. It is totally impossible to be well dressed in cheap shoes. They are the most important part of an outfit for a reason, although cheap doesn't necessarily equate to price, more about quality of construction.

*10. Never underestimate the significance of one considered or two considered accessories.
