The struggle for the release of our students started late last night with calls made to different quarters for assistance.
While we were still in talks with other senior comrades across the nation, in the wee hours of today Friday 19/8/2016, we got a call that the students wld be charged to court in few hours.
Tension was raised as our heartbeats could be heard from a distance. We couldn't think straight; yet, we knew we had d singular task of bringing back our students.
Then d court hearing started & d S.A to Ogun state Governor, Mr. Clement, NANS OGUN JCC chairman, Comr. Zamora, NANS National Senate president Aspirant, Comr. Adeyemi, Leader Tee Money & a host of others were in the court room.
Fortunately, d judge gave us the leverage to release the students on the basis that they would meet up with
1. 2 shortee each
2. Property worth #100,000
Then the race began; we had just 3 hours to d deadline.
We did our best with the assistance of the parents present.
*In all, we secured the release of The Deputy speaker, the Clerk & 15 other students.*
*Note: we couldn't secure the release of everybody as we lacked funds & time.*
It is @ this point in time that I would like to appreciate God almighty for his intervention.
Also I appreciate the presence of S.A to Gov Amosun (Mr. Clement), NANS OGUN JCC Chairman (Comr. Zamora), NANS NATIONAL SENATE PRESIDENT ASPIRANT (Comr. Amoo Azeez Adeyemi), All the parents that were on ground for their moral n financial support, Comr.Teesax, Hon Olamide. (Deputy Clerk), Hon Toheeb, Hon Chuks, All parliamentarians, Dogged FUNAABITES, all media house for the awesome role played, Everybody that helped on Facebook, twitter, n everyday social platform.

A lot still needs to be done as we still have our students in jail.
