funaabites,the year 2015 in the land of funaab for artistes has been a
revelation to the music industry,after the huge success kiss daniel an
ex-funaabite recorded from 2014 till date,the outside world started
noticing the talents in our great school and up-coming artistes got
inspiration to put in more work and win over fans all over the country
for their music,as the year 2015 comes to an end,we believe next year
would even be better as we try to put funaab out there as a
social school. So in this respect we are looking forward to a great
2016 for all of us as we take a look at the TOP 3 FUNAAB ARTISTS OF
2015.

NO.THREE:OBERZ

After the I heard the party rocking and up-tempo beat song "dance along",I knew this guy was on his way to fame with a sweet voice and a song that gives a meaning to his fans with good lyrical contents,later on in 2015 he released the cover of vulindlela a song originally performed by south african legend Brenda Fassie,he took the song and made its his own by giving it a Nigerian feel with good lyrics that only oberz can dish out.
Things got better for this talented young man as is he got signed to Echo Music Group(EMG) alongside a fellow funaabite ajanaku,this opened the door to greater things for oberz as he jumped on the cover of ajanaku's pain to render his lovely voice in place of Charlie puth as ajanaku played wiz-khalifa,with the national acceptance the song got,you would believe me when I say that he played his role well.
Couple of weeks back EMG dropped plenty blessings featuring oberz and his label mate,here once again oberz showed his lyrical prowess as he blessed the song with a beautiful hook,chorus and verse,setting the tone for ajanaku to kill the song and bless their fans with another hit.
I believe 2016 is the year for oberz to make his name widely known across the industry as I expect him to drop singles and atleast get out of ajanaku's shadow as he is currently looking like the brymo to iceprince's oleku.
