FUNAABITES LETTER TO THE CSO

Our dear infallible CSO, we the students of this university "glorified secondary school" are weary, sick and fed up with the incessant armed robberies that have been happening at the student areas of gate, camp and isolu in the past few weeks.
Infact the recent ones have been alarming and we have been forced to cry out to the school authority on this growing insurgency. We have previously laid our complaints to the SUG and since we've found out they are not interested in our welfare and are incapable of handling the situation. Anytime we sense a robbery operation, we call every stakeholder we have access to and they were indifferent. Now that we came out to show our anger, you came with the security men who are supposed to protect us and policemen"who we called during d robbery but refused to come", to chase us away and treated us like invalids. Yet we say we have a Students Union. We have tolerated a lot of humiliation in the past from the security men"yellow fever", and our colleagues "Man o war" and we didn't complain. Now we are faced with a life threatening situation and still you people who are responsible for our security and you sir, in particular, that the mantle of security has been handed to still persecutes us.  We are highly dissapointed and we the students of Funaab give you the title of "cso the persecutor". You are a disgrace to fatherhoodand if we were in the Roman Empire, you should be crucified like the gaols and vandals that rebelled against the Empire.
