SSANU NAASU NAAT PROTEST OVER ILLEGAL MONEY

Earlier today the senior staff association of Nigerian universities,the non-academic staff union of educational and associated institutions and the national association of academic technologists organised a protest in school today due to the collection of "illegal"
money by principal officers in school. The protest which was first staged at the senate house with members of the various associations expressing their grievances at the management,they later took off to the VC's lodge in their numbers to stage another protest which they tagged a twelve season movie that started today.
When we asked one of the executives the main reason for the protest,she had this to say "the vc and some principal officers are collecting and sharing illegal money,that is to say apart from salaries the vc collects #450000 and other principal officers collect #250000 from the IGR(internally generated revenue),they also bought new cars amongst themselves. While all this happened,we weren't well taken care of at all"

On the gate of the VC'S lodge reads "house for rent" a poster pasted by the protesters along with a small already-killed snake. They claim the house was built with their money and the VC had once told them that the lodge belongs to them,mancot buses also came to drop most of them at motion ground,they also claimed all the buses were bought with their money and so it belongs to them. According to them the protest would continue tomorrow at the school gate as they plan to boycott the inaugural lecture holding tomorrow.
