TRENDING FASHION GEARS IN FUNAAB

FUNAABites as compared with recent years have taken a nose dive into the social world, and its impact has been felt off and on campus.

Today we bring you the trendy fashion gears funaabites rock every other day....

1).Flannel: You might have come across this shirt before and had no idea what it is called. Flannel laid-back shirt is currently having a moment on the Funaab fashion scene . This button down shirt is versatile and can be worn in a number of different ways. A great way to rock your flannel is to wear it with a casual pair of jeans. Depending on how you want to look, you can wear your shirt buttoned up or left unbuttoned. You can also wear it over a gown as a jacket by pairing it with gladiator or wedge shoes to give it an edgy look. You can also tie it around your waist to give you a hippie flannel shirt look. The key to pulling off this look is to add a basic neutral coloured top and jeans(preferably blue) to tone the outfit down

2). Double denim: This trend has been around for decades and is currently being embraced by funaabites. When done right, it can look amazing. The trick for getting denim on denim right is all in the pieces you choose. When it comes to double denim, less isn't more in my own opinion. The basic rule is to make that the washes and colour are completely different from each other.

 This means pairing a light washed blue denim jacket or shirt with dark blue, black or grey jeans. You also want to make sure that your pieces fit you perfectly. Pairing together a really baggy pair of jeans and an ill fitting shirt is not a good look. The key here is making sure your jeans are slim or skinny and your shirt, jacket or vest is fitted.

3). White jeans: The thing with white jeans is that they are tricky to wear. They are not flattering at times and you have to watch where you are sitting. It can be worn with stripes, denim jacket and a little pop of colour. Polka dot and a pop of red  striped button down shirt and flats. Long coats, flowy tops, and stylish sandals and also black lace top with sandals or flats.

4). Sweatshirt : Rolling into class with a slept in hoodie won't win you the award for most stylish girl in school, but that doesn't mean loungewear is totally Off-limits for daytime. This stylish sweats have gotten a sophisticated upgrade,making then as chic as they are comfy. Pair a sweatshirt with a leather skirt and sneakers for a sporty look, you can pair by wearing with a pencil skirt and flats.

 Add leather or pleather pants and a statement necklace. Layer your sweatshirt under a denim jacket and add slip-on sneakers for a casual vibe. Layer your sweatshirt on another shirt and add a pair of cute flats for a simple look.

5). High waisted trousers: Take your plaid, lumberjack shirt, long-sleeve tops and favourite tee and tuck them into your high waisted pants(styling trick:after tucking in your top or buttoning your pants over it, raise your arms over your head. Doing so will pull out just the right amount of fabric and give you the perfect blouson at the waist ).

Avoid overly blouse tops, wear with crop top, wear with long jacket, avoid short bulky jackets, wear in a flared style, avoid overly flared legs, wear your correct size, avoid ill fitting high waisted pants and also wear the correct hem length.

6). Vintage shirt : Vintage shirt gives you a nostalgic and retro feel.

 This retro trend is very dominant on the Funaab fashion scene and it feels as if everyone owns one. You can easily buy a shirt that is too large and wear it with a tight bottom or a wide belt to make it look more flattering. Make sure your vintage is always in good condition.

7). High low gowns: This is a very versatile trend but can be tricky to wear. When going with mixed patterns, try to keep the accessories to a minimum : tiny earrings, a simple wristwatch - things that don't run the risk of becoming overwhelming


So don't complain about not getting trendy ever again!!!! You have all you need, just merge them well and you'll look amazing in your own way.
